#Soap4Hope is a COVID-19 Relief Programme
At Imbumba we felt very strongly compelled to engage and offer support to our fellow South Africans during these fearful and uncertain times. Within 24-hours of the call that a national lock down would be implemented, the Imbumba Foundation launched a COVID-19 relief response programme under the #Soap4Hope Campaign.
The #Soap4Hope Campaign has been distributing anti-bacterial soap, all-purpose cleaner and food parcels, as well as advocated access to water, to help curb and prevent unnecessary widespread infection and mitigate hunger, within our most vulnerable underprivileged South African communities.
We invite individuals and corporate partners to join us in our Call to Action, following the Corona Virus: COVID-19 pandemic and its rapid spread across the globe.
Founding corporate partners include: Old Mutual Foundation, AngloGold Ashanti, South32, Coca-Cola Beverages SA, the Ball Family Foundation and Fourways Airconditioning, amongst others.
The Imbumba Foundation has partnered with Springbok Rugby and Webb Ellis trophy Captain, Siya Kolisi, in delivering COVID-19 relief packs to Siya’s hometown of Zwide and other impoverished communities in South Africa. As a result, the Nelson Mandela and Kolisi Foundations have come on board to drive food security through the joint Each One Feed One Campaign in partnership with #Soap4Hope.
All contributions (irrespective of size) are welcomed towards sponsoring a food parcel valued at R 500 per family. For more information email: email@example.com
