In July 2024, individuals and adventure enthusiasts from all walks of life will come together to summit on Africa’s Highest Peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, in commemoration of 30 years of democracy in South Africa. This year’s Expedition will be a first of it’s kind called The Trek4Mandela ‘Unity In Diversity ‘6 Routes‘ Expedition’, where climbers will be summiting on all 6 routes with each route representing a colour of the South African flag.

The 6 routes are:

1. Marangu -Red Route

2. Lemosho – Blue Route

3. Machame – Yellow Route

4. Rongai – Black Route

5. Shira – Green Route

6. Umbwe – White Route

Over the years, Trek4Mandela has not only been the bridge that connects and creates a space where people from different professions can network, but it has also been a programme that strives to empower young girls who come from disadvantaged communities by keeping them in school through the provision of sanitary pad and menstrual hygiene education.
