This initiative aims to develop confident and responsible, engaged youth leaders and global citizens in our own communities. It is the next step leading on from the Caring4Girls Programme, to provide educational opportunities and develop our youth for a successful and sustainable future. To date, the programme has assisted over 30000 learners, across all provinces in South Africa.

Vision 20/20 Programme Components

Assistance to Grade 12 Learners with Career Guidance Counselling and NSFAS registration and tertiary institution application.
Leadership Workshop for Grade 10 – Grade 12 learners. Pupils and Teachers assist in identifying peer leaders who attend an interactive workshop. The theme of the workshops is to identify and discuss challenges faced in their everyday school environment and to come up with solutions to address these challenges.
‘Second Chance’ post-matriculant support for those leaners who did not pass their matric or need to upgrade their results. This includes promoting matriculants to:

REWRITE - taking away the shame and supporting opportunities to redo their matric year.

UPGRADE - supporting matriculants to rewrite and upgrade their results in specific subjects so as to enable admission to their tertiary degree or diploma of choice, e.g., Science and Mathematics.

REDIRECT - guiding learners that may not be eligible for university education towards alternative career choices and learning opportunities, e.g., TVET College qualifications.
